Nice rooms with comfortable beds.
I was given room 118 on the first floor, where loud music disturbed my sleep until 11:30 PM. After moving to room 404 due to a leak and street noise, I found that room also had a leak. The staff seemed unfriendly, and I had a frustrating experience with the automatic door that almost trapped me.

Not exactly a gem for solo adventurers
One thing I appreciated was the lady who handled breakfast, she was polite and prompt. unlike most of the staff. Also, the location is near park retiro, giving you a place to unwind after a long day.
It wasn't exactly cheap. but still doable.

I loved the boutique vibe of this AC Hotel. The location was fantastic, just steps away from some great restaurants and shops. The staff greeted me with friendliness and were always eager to help. My room was comfortable, modern, and impeccably clean. The bathroom had excellent water pressure for a rejuvenating shower, which is a must after a long day exploring Madrid. The jazz club in the hotel added a unique touch to the stay with live performances every night. However, the breakfast options felt a bit limited. I would have preferred more variety. Additionally, the internet speed was fantastic, but it could benefit from some USB outlets in the room for charging devices.

Prime location near cultural attractions and upmarket restaurants makes for easy exploring. Cozy bar adds a nice touch for winding down after a long day outdoors.
Room 118 on the first floor was subject to loud music until 11:30 PM, making it hard to relax. After switching to room 404, I discovered leakage issues. Noise from the street and bar, which didn't help in getting quality rest. The beds aren't heavy or sturdy, so they shifted easily, diminishing comfort. Automatic doors also posed a problem, slamming shut behind me unexpectedly, a definite design flaw. Overall, the hotel felt like it could use some refreshing in both decor and amenities.
